Literally visa versa for me, I owned the Fusion with the Sony system for a couple years > moved to a 2021 BMW and am honestly quite let down with the sound system. I’ve put a few hundred into upgrading it lol.

WEBNov 3, 2021 · One of the best parts of the car. One of my complaints with some Bose products is that they are missing treble detail and bass extension. However the Bose stereo in my 3 has plenty of detail and it goes plenty low enough—the bass is quite strong, but not overboosted or boomy. The system in the 6, CX-5, etc., is a generation older.

Because honestly for $300, if you want new, you aren't gonna get quality equipment. A decent head unit will run 150-200 alone.
