Marina Bay has excursions for sunset cruising, but I am unsure of whale watching. The best, and best-guaranteed, viewings of whales is out of Provincetown. A 2.5 hour drive from Quincy, it is a pleasant trip through sand dunes and small villages on Cape Cod. Provincetown must be experienced for it's art, restaurants, and amazingly eccentric and special townsfolk!
