This is a great place to walk and enjoy the waterfront. The ships were amazing, with grassy areas to enjoy kicking a ball, playing with your family, or just sitting. Full review by Beverly S

Is there a place in Norfolk where a family can hold a cookout within the vicinity of the waterfront?

Unfortunately, none that I know of unless you go up to the Ocean View section of Norfolk and have something on the beach by the bay.

I believe that, due to security considerations, tours onboard the Naval Station have been discontinued. You can, however, take the Victory Rover out of Town Point Park/Nauticus which …

I believe that, due to security considerations, tours onboard the Naval Station have been discontinued. You can, however, take the Victory Rover out of Town Point Park/Nauticus which sails past the base and you can see the ships from that vantage point. Hope that this helps.
