Dozens of people have been killed and wounded in an Israeli strike on a house in Jabalia in northern Gaza, Palestinian medics and rescuers say. The official Palestinian news agency Wafa and Gaza's Hamas-run civil defence agency said at least 30 people had been killed. The civil defence said the dead included 13 children.

The war began when Hamas-led militants blew holes in the border fence and stormed into southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. They killed some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and abducted around 250. Some 100 hostages are still inside Gaza, about a third of whom are believed to be dead.

Two separate Israeli strikes killed at least 13 people, including women and children, in Gaza on Saturday, Palestinian medical officials said, as Israel announced the first delivery of aid in weeks to war-battered northern Gaza.
