Spirit Airlines says it won't announce its quarterly financial results because the company is focused on talks with bond holders to restructure its debt.

The Wall Street Journal, citing anonymous sources, reported late Tuesday that the airline was discussing terms of a possible bankruptcy filing.

A JetBlue flight bound for New York City from Haiti was hit by bullets the same day as a Spirit Airlines plane was struck. The New York Post reports JetBlue was forced to temporarily halt all flights to Haiti after Flight 935 arrived at JFK International Airport with a bullet hole.
