The Dragon Age series is no stranger to having players make decisions that will further impact the game world, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard is no exception here. As you progress the story, you’ll encounter a new choice to assist one of two cities that desperately need help against the blight dragons that have attacked.

The Veilguard comes quite early where you have to choose between saving one of two cities. While Rook and their companions are powerful, they don't have the time to save both cities from Dragons, and the pressure is high when Harding asks which city you should save.

The Veilguard’s choices are personal and focus on your team’s relationships and life paths. However, one of the big, world-changing ones comes early on, shortly after you recruit Davrin, the Grey Warden companion.

The Veilguard can get their hands on some sweet new outfits, but it can be confusing to know where to unlock them. After creating your Rook, the game starts with them and Varric walking through Minrathous in regular clothes.

The Veilguard isn’t like the past games in a lot of ways, and there’s one more thing you can add to that list.
