A 7-year-old boy drowned in a north Houston residential swimming pool Wednesday evening, according to law enforcement officials. Harris County Constable Precinct 4 deputies responded to a call of an unresponsive male found in a swimming pool in the 7300 block of Fox Forest Trail around 7 p.

Upon arriving, emergency responders attempted to give the child CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS workers, according to the constable's office.
