Chris Martin, lead singer of the British band Coldplay, fell into a hole on stage during a concert in Melbourne, Australia. The mishap occurred during the fourth and final night of the popular group's sold-out series of shows at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne as part of its ongoing Music of the Spheres world tour.

In a clip posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Greg Briggs, Chris Martin was seen interacting with the audience as he walked backwards before falling into the trap door. The audience was heard gasping. Someone was already standing inside the trap door, and quickly extended their hand to cushion Chris Martin’s fall.
