As an NFL fan, there’s nothing better than a shootout between two high-scoring offenses. However, there’s also something beautiful about a defensive struggle where neither team can get anything going because the defensive coordinators have game-planned perfectly.

The team now known as the Washington Commanders and the New York Giants are responsible for the highest-scoring game in NFL history. The Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns combined to score 106 points in a 2004 matchup.
