Starting September 30, JEA will begin applying a vendor service fee for payments made using credit or debit cards through its website or automated phone system.
JEA customers paying by card will see vendor service fee return Monday
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Starting Monday, JEA customers who pay their bill using a credit or debit card will now be charged a vendor service fee. The fee will also apply to payments made through JEA's automated phone system (IVR). The utility absorbed the fees, totaling more than $9 million, for the last two years.
