A fresh bout of heavy rain is likely to cause more flooding across parts of England badly hit by downpours earlier this week, the Met Office has warned. A more serious amber warning has been issued for some areas in the midlands and central England,

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for rain covering the Midlands, and eastern and southern England between 6pm on Thursday until 6am Friday. Some places, especially across central and eastern parts of the warning area could see more than 50-60mm in six hours.
