The Canucks captain surprised Dorothy Palmer, a 105-year-old fan, after the team’s training camp scrimmage in Penticton, British Columbia, on Sunday. The adorable fan jumped out of her chair and ran to give Hughes a hug as soon as she spotted in him during a video posted by the Canucks on social media.

Captain Quinn Hughes is excited about the acquisitions that the Vancouver Canucks had this offseason. There was a clear emphasis on the Canucks getting bigger and more physical with additions like Jake DeBrusk and Kiefer Sherwood.

Quinn Hughes and Filip Hronek were dominant together in their first full season as a pairing, with Hughes crediting Hronek for giving him more chances to create offence. It's a big reason why he led all NHL defencemen in scoring with 92 points and took home the Norris Trophy as the league's best defenceman.
