Iowa is 2-1 on the season following a Week 2 heartbreaking loss to rival Iowa State (20-19) and a bounce-back win over Troy (38-21) last weekend. The Hawkeyes finished last season with a 35-0 Cheez-It Citrus Bowl loss to Tennessee to end the year 10-3.

For the first time in 2024, the Hawkeyes are on the road as they travel to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the kick off to Big Ten conference play. Both teams enter the day at 2-1 and untested in conference play.

Gophers coach P.J. Fleck and Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz, both steeped in the rivalry’s tradition, have seen the past three meetings decided by 10 points combined.
